Reading the schedule…
How to play
Every CDL series in a stage is listed by match day. Pick the score you think it ends on — 3–1, not just the winner — any time before it starts. You can change a pick as often as you like until then; once the series is live, it is locked.
Results go in by hand, usually once the day’s last series is over, and the boards update the moment they do.
Scoring
2 points for the right winner, and 1 more on top when the series score is exact too. Players level on points are split by who called more exact scores.
Call every series score on a match day exactly — at least 2 series — and you earn a Nuke. Finish in the top 10 of a stage and you take a trophy. Both are kept for good and worn beside your name on every leaderboard on the site, the Barracks included.
Squads
A squad is a board of its own: up to 20 players, and you can be in up to 10. Anyone signed in can start one. A private squad is for you and your mates, joined by invite link; a public squad is listed on this page for anyone to join. Everyone’s points count on the main board and on every squad they are in at once — there is nothing to pick twice.
Questions
- Does it cost anything?
- No. Play Picks is free for every account, trophies and Nukes included. Supporting the site does not change your points or your odds of placing.
- Can I build a squad before the season starts?
- Yes. Squads work before the schedule is out, so your group is ready for the first match. Everyone starts on zero.
- What if a result is entered wrong?
- It gets corrected, and every score, Nuke and board recalculates on its own. Say so in the Discord if you spot one.
- Is this the official CDL Pick'em?
- No. Play Picks is an independent fan-run COD pickems league. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Call of Duty League, Activision, or any team.
