What it is

COD Mini-Games is a set of 7 daily browser puzzles about competitive Call of Duty — the Call of Duty League, the CWL, and the MLG era before them. Each game deals one puzzle a day, everyone playing on the same date gets the same one, and every game takes a couple of minutes.

It is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Activision, the Call of Duty League, or any team or player in it. Call of Duty and every map image on the site are Activision’s.

Why it exists

Competitive Call of Duty has two decades of history and almost nothing built on top of it: no daily game, nothing that rewards knowing who played where in 2014. Every other scene has one. This is that, for a scene whose fans have spent fifteen years arguing about rosters in the same group chats.

The games are deliberately small. One puzzle each, a couple of minutes, and a share line — the point is the argument it starts, not the time it takes.

Where the data comes from

Every puzzle is built from public records of competitive Call of Duty: roster histories, event placements and championship results, going back to 2008. That data is assembled and checked before it ships, and the answer pools are then cut down by hand so that a day is never won or lost on a name nobody has heard of.

It is still wrong sometimes. Rosters get recorded late, handles change, and stand-ins are a matter of interpretation. If you find something wrong, the fastest fix is to say so — see contact.

How it is paid for

Two ways, and both are stated plainly. There is one advertisement at the foot of the page, and there is a supporter option for anyone who would rather pay for it directly — supporters see no adverts, can replay Infected without limit, and can open any past daily from the archive.

What supporting does not buy is the games. Every daily puzzle is free, needs no account, and always will, and every camo in the suite can be earned by playing — supporters are handed the rack early, not given anything nobody else can reach. The privacy policy covers what the site knows about you, which is very little.

Getting in touch

The Discord is where corrections, suggestions and arguments about today’s answer go. The site is also on X. Anything that should not be public — a payment, an account, a privacy request — goes to sam@codminigames.com. Everything else is on the contact page.
