Intel

Guess today’s COD pro in 8. Every guess reports back on their org, country, role and record.

8 guesses left

How to play

Intel is a dossier puzzle. There is a hidden competitive Call of Duty pro, you get eight guesses to name them, and every guess comes back as a row of six columns comparing the player you named to the player you are looking for.

Green means that column matches exactly. Amber means you are close in a way the column defines. Nothing means no relation. Eight guesses is generous if you read the amber cells, and tight if you only read the green ones.

What the six columns mean

Main org is the org they have played the most events for. When there’s an even split between two, the one they left most recently wins.

Amber means the answer played for that org at some point without it being their main one.

Country is exact on green, and amber is a different country in the same region. Role is SMG or AR, with amber when one of the two is a flex, which sits between them.

Debut is the year of their first major, with amber inside two years of the answer’s. Majors is how many major-tier events they have played, with amber inside five of the answer’s. Both carry an arrow saying whether the answer is higher or lower.

Rings is championships won, and it is the one column with no amber at all — rings are exact, and the arrow tells you whether the answer has more.

Who can be the answer

You can guess anyone in the roster, including players with gaps in their record; those cells come back as no data rather than as a wrong answer.

The answer is drawn from a much smaller group: players with a fully filled dossier and at least twenty major-tier appearances behind them. That is deliberate. A player nobody has heard of is not deducible, only guessable, and a day spent proving that is a day wasted — so the pool stops where the names stop being ones a fan would shout.

Tips

Spend the first guess on a player who sits in the middle of everything: a long-career North American AR with a few rings. A row of amber from a central player is worth more than a row of blanks from an obscure one.

Read majors and debut together. Debut fixes the era and majors fixes how long they stayed in it, and between them they usually cut the pool to a handful before you have spent half your guesses.

Play a day you missed

Every daily since 1 August 2026 is still playable in the archive. A past board keeps its own progress, so it never disturbs the one you are playing today. Opening one is a paid supporter perk; today’s puzzle, and every camo you earn on it, stays free.

Questions

Do I need an account?
No. Every daily is playable signed out, and your progress is kept in your own browser. Signing in carries your streak and your earned camos between devices.
Is everyone playing the same puzzle?
Yes. The puzzle is derived from the calendar date, so everyone playing on the same date gets the same one. The date is your local one, so it changes at your midnight rather than at a fixed hour worldwide.
Something missing or wrong?
The Discord is the place to say so. Rosters, spellings and results all come from data that can be out of date or plain wrong, and it gets fixed when someone points at it.
Can I play a puzzle I missed?
Yes, if you support the site. Every past daily back to 1 August 2026 is kept in the archive and opens on a board of its own, so it never disturbs the one you are playing today.
