How to play
Every board holds sixteen competitive Call of Duty pros. They split into four groups of four, and every group is a real lineup — four players who were on the same roster at the same event.
Tap four names and submit. Get it right and the group is locked in, in its colour. Get it wrong and you lose a life; four wrong calls and the board closes and shows you the rest.
What the colours mean
The four groups are dealt first and coloured afterwards, by how many events the four played together. Gold is the roster that stayed together longest — the side everyone remembers. Purple played one event together and was never a lineup again.
So the difficulty is a fact about the roster rather than a judgement about the players: a board can put a famous name in the purple row, and often does, because the lineup he was on that weekend lasted exactly one weekend.
How a board is built
Boards come from the same roster history the rest of the suite uses, and every board is checked to have exactly one answer: if any other four of the sixteen ever played together, the board is thrown away rather than shipped as a coin flip.
Two lineups from the same organisation never share a board, and the roster this game deals from is wider than the others — it reaches down to players with a handful of majors, because nothing here is typed from memory and a lineup you have never heard of is still solvable from the three names beside it.
Tips
Start from the names that only fit one place. A player with a single famous stint is worth more than a star who played for six orgs, because the star belongs to whichever group the other three decide.
When a four looks obvious, count the era. Most wrong calls are a real roster plus someone who played for that org years earlier, and the years are the fastest way to catch it.
Play a day you missed
Every daily since 1 August 2026 is still playable in the archive. A past board keeps its own progress, so it never disturbs the one you are playing today. Opening one is a paid supporter perk; today’s puzzle, and every camo you earn on it, stays free.
Questions
- Do I need an account?
- No. Every daily is playable signed out, and your progress is kept in your own browser. Signing in carries your streak and your earned camos between devices.
- Is everyone playing the same puzzle?
- Yes. The board is derived from the calendar date, so everyone playing on the same date gets the same one. The date is your local one, so it changes at your midnight rather than at a fixed hour worldwide.
- Something missing or wrong?
- The Discord is the place to say so. Rosters, spellings and results all come from data that can be out of date or plain wrong, and it gets fixed when someone points at it.
- Can I play a puzzle I missed?
- Yes, if you support the site. Every past daily back to 1 August 2026 is kept in the archive and opens on a board of its own, so it never disturbs the one you are playing today.
